They've got to be throwing silly money at him.
Rumoured to be worth $100m, doesn't say over how many years. Good luck to him, I like his show and he appears to be a decent guy.
I imagine a good portion of that will come from his work with the UFC.
No that's the deal he signed with Spotify for the podcast. UFC is a different thing.

Sorry i've taken the 'rumored to be wroth $100m' as his total net worth. Didn't realise that was just the Spotify deal.

That's some serious money for a podcast.

Spotify going hard for the podcasting market. They recently purchased The Ringer as well.
A joyless arsehole.

Interesting.

I rarely watch his stuff, mostly listen to it via PodcastAddict - take it he'll be gone from there too? Will this be a video podcast too then? Do Spotify even do that? Crimetown signed a deal with Spotify their second series and I still haven't even listened to it yet and it's been out for about 18 months - wonder how many fairweather fans will follow him to Spotty?

I enjoy most of JRE, but can often get a bit samey - even Bridget Phetsay who was on recently (excellent the first time, felt a bit of the same on the most recent one).

Diaz is my favourite of his comedian pals. Not a huge UFC fan, so hardly watch those ones.

He is a great listen at times though. Especially if you walking or even struggling to sleep. The simplicity of just starting a conversation and letting it flow. Although some of the funniest guest of late - Mark Normand, Tim Dillion's jokes sometimes fly right over his head.

Wonder how it will work though, as Spotify will really need to up their game regarding podcasts.

Huge, huge money for a podcast.

I think the Bernie Sanders thing really pissed him off with the far-left. He got a lot of shite written about him regarding trans rights, and if anything he seems to be going back to the middle/Libertarian - he's said he'll not vote for Biden. I think Trump will end up being a guest on it before the election - a last throw of the dice - wonder how that would go down with Spotify etc if he had him on and it helped him win him a second term?

Ah, I wouldnt think they care about that, nothing is more certain than a trump win, but yeah he is a great interviewer, he just lets people go and just asks the questions like "whats that" that all of us are wanting to ask when the guest is talking about something a lay man wont understand.

Joe Rogan is one of the biggest twats I've ever heard. He's like a spasticated frat-boy. He's unwatchable on UFC. I can see why he smokes weed all day, to drown-out the voices in his head.

Good, long may it continue.

I enjoyed his recent interview with actors Michael Imperioli and Steve Schirripa. It was clearly a plug for their new podcast, Talking Sopranos, though.

Joe is a stoner American Michael McIntyre.

Stanhope is the only American comedian worth listening to now.

Joey Diaz has also quit Los Angeles. He’s moving back to New Jersey.
