BBC could shift further right than the Gammons on here and the DM would still be after them. They want the BBC diminished purely for business reasons.

Personally I would privatise the BBC, on the grounds that it is commercial piss, but I feel it would be beneficial to the Beeb because they would be stronger without all the state regulations that they have now. EG involved in pay per view sport.

After all BT is far stronger now than it was as a shagged out state service in the early 80s.
