There are some absolute gems come up on this channel.

Recently watched:-

Roy Orbison and Friends: A Black and White Night - with Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Jackson Browne, kd lang, Jennifer Warnes and Bonnie Raitt. The TCB Band which backs all featured artists was Elvis Presley's band until his death in 1977 and includes James Burton, Glen D Hardin, Jerry Scheff and Ronnie Tutt with musical drector T-Bone Burnett. Filmed at the Cocoanut Grove nightclub in Los Angeles.

I tune in regularly to Sky Arts, and not just for programmes that feature the lovely art historian Kate Bryan.

Kudos to Sky Arts, Docs et al. They are definitely filling a cultural void with some quality atm as the BBC take their eyes off the prize and continue to chase da youf.

Sky Arts, or "Sky Farts" if you're Andy GoldSteen, shows proper documentaries, talking about history in the past tense and so on.
