Why does no-one without a financial interest sit ABBA down and explain that it's over, and they should live off any royalties they never signed away in a moment of madness?
People love them, what's the problem?
People are the problem.

Do you like them Leado? Gay icons seem to have more pulling power, why is this? Why does a big gay somehow mean that a band is better? Sam Smith, Gloria Gaynor and Take That have big gay followings but they’re all shit.
I enjoy their songs and they were of their time. I suppose it helps having a gay following as there is a lot of money in the pink pound, as they tend to have more disposable income, and they enjoy a bit of camp like kylie etc.

They broke up in 1982 though. Do you remember them well? I don’t think the pink pound means they’re necessarily quality, just more marketable as the music promoters can get a better profile and get more err coverage.

I’m not sure that’s true. Keith Chegwin was arse of the year for at least three of those, late 70s and early 80s.

It's funny how 'the pink pound' means one thing and 'pounding the pink' means exactly the opposite.
