Do you like them Leado? Gay icons seem to have more pulling power, why is this? Why does a big gay somehow mean that a band is better? Sam Smith, Gloria Gaynor and Take That have big gay followings but they’re all shit.
I enjoy their songs and they were of their time. I suppose it helps having a gay following as there is a lot of money in the pink pound, as they tend to have more disposable income, and they enjoy a bit of camp like kylie etc.
They broke up in 1982 though. Do you remember them well? I don’t think the pink pound means they’re necessarily quality, just more marketable as the music promoters can get a better profile and get more err coverage.
It's funny how 'the pink pound' means one thing and 'pounding the pink' means exactly the opposite.

I thought they might do a show in wales. I heard they were popular there
