Racing League

Post by JW90 »

Get ready for this shit to pollute the airwaves from now on.

Apparently the station has a team involved in it.

They are presenting Dwive with Stain and Goffeh from Newcastle racecourse tonight. Brazil mentioned they had a team in it and Rupert Bell was attending.

To be honest I've no idea how it works but just giving a heads up as listeners are likely to be sick of it before too long.

Christ it sounds Mickey Mouse.
Anything that TS taints immediately has less credibility than the those hand painted repair shop names on stock cars that you saw on World of Sport in the 70s.

Even Lingerie Football has more gravitas and nuance.

They've been going on about it for a few days now. Rupe and Lizzie even fucked off from Glorious Goodwood for a night meet in Newcastle tonight.

From what I gather, a weekly league type thing. Various teams with managers, TS is Boozil and Bell, they have trainers and jockeys running for them. One of TS' trainers is Rupe's brother Michael Bell. Lizzie Kelly is a manager for another team, hence a lot of bantz.

Think there are 6 races a night each week and points and coin for the winners. Overall winner is champion. Even Rupe said, these aren't the best nags, but the coin is way better than would be for a normal night meet in Newcastle. On Sky Sports Racing and probably got a sponsor, but only know what I've heard on TS.

TS website guide, got it pretty much spot on: :) https://talksport.com/sport/racing/9185 ... in-brazil/

Lizzie had her own team. TS team managers were Rupe and Boozil, but Boozil went MIA somewhere, but will no doubt claim the credit.
