Not really. Privately educated and Oxbridge. That’s why he used to be a Maoist.

But are they lovely? That's surely the only question!

I think it's Andrew Neil who comes from a modest background.

I still haven't listened to it. I'm already preparing to not listen to Rushden and Father Stone, so avoiding Glory Hunters beforehand gets me in the mood.

I am very grateful for 'Glory Hunters', in the absence of which I would not have discovered Clarke and Webster on TS2.

Yep. I’m listening to them too.

Glory Hunters is one of the six TS shows I never listen to at all. The others are Drive, George Bingham’s appalling show, Rushden’s two weekend efforts, The Sports Bra, and Hugh ‘n’ Dazza’s Diversity Explosion. I also dislike Jim Shite intensely but sometimes suffer 10 minutes of him in the car. This is quite an achievement by Clayton to render such a large percentage of the output toxic. Once he’s replaced Big Al with Greta Thunberg I can cross that show off too.

...And Moyesy would have been perfect for that job. Perfect! And why on earth isn't Neil back in management yet? And Sam? And Chrissie? What on earth is going on???

Here's the problem, though, with TS2 these days. I put it on a few minutes ago - and they're replaying Dum-Dum's phone in from LAST WEEK! I don't want to listen to Dum-Dum at all, but week-old Dum-Dum? What's the point of that? TS2 really needs to either settle for being a bin bag for TS1 or move on as a proper channel.

1981 Siptember, Ipswich played Aberdeen in the UEFA Cup, minus five, might as well have been Siberia, oh dear, what a day that was, Big Bootch Terry Butcher lost all feeling in his hands - hypothermia. This year I was up there at the same time of year for a dinner, lovely, charity auction, raised a lot of money, it was like summer, I was soaked in sweat. I’m telling you somethings’s not right.

I take your point - after Clarke and Webster's show they played a "football podcast" which reviewed the previous weekend's PL games - it served no purpose. They'd have been better-served extending Clarke & Webster.

Yes. I mean, coverage of yesterday's games, still a bore, but at least a semblance of sense, but a week ago??? Really, the channel needs to regain its own identity.
