Yeah. But as he’s got a Northern accent he’s only allowed to commentate on Northern teams in The North. Or Rugby League which is a Northern game. That’s how Clayton’s ghetto policy works.

Well he doesn't want any accusations of nasty cultural appropriation, does he.

Just thinking McKenna surely must need some extra praise with this little fact.

• Out of all the commentators on Talksport Macca has commentated on the most sports.

This must point to his knowledge of a variety of sports as well as his competence in the commentary box. This puts him above Biggles and Danter in this respect. Much underrated I reckon.

Burnley v Chelsea. Burnley have a player called Ben Mee and just now we had Dants say "ball hits Mee on the way through". Hawksbee and Jacobs may use it if they're desperate for clips of week. Going on how good yesterday's was they will I reckon.

Matterface and Pearce are some double act - Matterface thinking he is the intellectually superior one, only to show he's probably just as thick. Pearce: 'I don't know what indefatigable is'. Matterface: 'It means someone isn't prone to fatigue'. Not exactly, Samuel, you great twerp.

If they do TDP will deploy his Warnock impression “I like Mee, me”. Last heard when GOA mentioned Bertie “one for the teenagers” Mee.

I can’t stand McKenna - reminds me of that character Rob Newman used to do, every single thing he says sounds like he’s being sarcastic. He only commentates on lots of sports because he’s desperate to keep his job, no-one else would want him.

He was boasting last weekend about visiting a library. He sounded genuinely pleased with himself.

His little sneery "tssch!"of contempt then short inhalation of breath at the beginning of every sentence as he then t-a-l-k-s r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-w-l-y as he tard-splains whatever high minded concept he deigns to lay on us peasant oiks, like we are particularly simple three year olds.

Oh, that was classic TS and classic Laura Woods: 'We can go over now to Nigel Adderley, who has with him,' she gasped excitedly, 'RAHEEM STERLING!' Then an embarrassed-sounding Adderley has to say: 'Er, he's not actually alongside me, Laura, er, he's down on the pitch...' TS commentator looks through the glass at a player down on the pitch - take THAT BBC, ITV, Sky and everyone else!! What a TS Exclusive!
