Some of that forum level code is a couple of years out of date so I need to get it updated. While I wait I might downgrade PHP a bit more to see if it stops trapping even more errors.

The second problem is that somebody has made changes to the nameservers and the DNS settings have got out of sync. That is why the talkforum.co.uk address is currently not working. That will be the next thing to fix.

Downgraded PHP back by several versions, seems like quotes and other shit like images are working again now.
Second, have reset the DNS values and reverted the nameservers to previous ones. Now waiting on thse changes to propogate across the network connections.

Yeah well done to Mark and all the techy minded help he had. As someone who can get porn and that my well of computer knowledge exhausted and who thinks Linux is Charlie Brown's retarded friend, I'm always a bit in awe of nerds who say things like 'code' 'servers' etc and know what the fuck they are talking about.

Maybe we should have an active forum Twitter account. If just for info on this type of event.

Maybe we do, I don't know.

I just remembered that a really long time ago Alex or Mark or Geezer gave me the password to the talkforum twitter account.
https://twitter.com/talkforumuk
I just had a look and it says "Account suspended". It wasn't me as I've never logged into the bloody thing. I wonder what was posted for that to happen?!

And one for Facebook.

1st says talkforum.org, that's the old address innit?
2nd one ... I can't remember if the site was ever talkforum.net. It's got no tweets anyway.
3rd one is obsessed with Gaunt so probably owned by someone in the Gaunt thread.
