He's in (and think last few days) 10pm to 1am.

Only heard half an hour but enjoyable. Just him blethering on with producers. It's not Unexplained , bit like less self indulgent Iain Lee.

I probably have posted this a squillion times, but the Unexplained is one of the best radio shows ever, so well prepared, and so diverse and 'unique'.

The Unexplained has been good the few times I've heard it, and always seem to forget its on or busy (or work every second Sunday evening) but last night was fun.

Like an Iain Lee show without the narcissism really. A bit all over the place and interesting callers. Wouldn't mind hearing more of Howard to be honest in both his Unexplained or talk radio format.

It was a Brexit and politic-free show which is a welcome relief considering we've had it coming out our ears on LBC.

What happened to Elisa Lam? One of the strangest disappearances since the Maddy case.

If you enjoy Hughes' Unexplained, I recommend listening to the Joe Rogan podcast episode with Dan Ackroyd and watching the YouTube series BrainScratch.

Lambers. The're some posts here about Elisa Lam:

Simpler than Maddie, IMO.

Thanks!

Andrew Gosden is a much nearer mysterious as fuck disappearance.
A 14yr old from Doncaster who in 2007, completely out of character, bunked off school, took a train to London and seemingly vanished.

Definitely Mysteron activity.

I suspect they'll be some strange events down the Arsenal now Captain Black is in charge. Some thing along the lines of if Aubameyang has just been found dead in a cupboard then who the fuck is that on the field???

Yes. I often see Andrew's photograph on Missing People posters in London. His father suffered a breakdown a few years ago. Terrible.
Why did Andrew decide to buy a one way ticket to London? Why did he only bring a few belongings – no jumper, extra clothes? Why were the police so tardy?
I suspect foul play or the boy wanted to disappear. The latter is very easy to do in London.

The Best of 2019 last night.

Thoroughly enjoyable. I really need to listen more to Howard - think he's on tomorrow or the 1st of January from 10pm.

He spoke to 'Hollywood' Godfather Gianni Russo who all in one life has bedded Marilyn Monroe, survived Pablo Escobar's compound, told Marlon Brando who was the boss, and lots more other bullshit. Was pretty funny though.

Then some ghost story tour around Liverpool for the last hour. Really enjoyable and Howard is a likeable, decent presenter.

My mate taught him. Said the family were a bit strange, both before and after. Showed no discernible change in emotion though he also said that he heard in private the father is broken and has tried suicide.
