Some accent he has though.

Not exactly refined poshish Scouse but clear soft 'voiceover man' type slight Scouse.

I listen to his podcast from time to time, I think it's just his show edited down but it's still very good.
I didn't actually realise was on TR until this thread either.

Refined Scouse is nice e.g Ringo, Alexei, Sinbad from Brookie. Id never have thought HH was a Liverpudlian at all, and his accent/speech is fine just sounds odd.

I'll need to check out his poddy though.

He does slip into a native scouse accent occasionally. He soon reverts to voiceover man/disc jockey voice pretty quickly though.

He retrained his voice but can slip back into the drawl quite easily.

Best show on radio when the subject matter is good. Perfect Sunday night batshittery. Last night wasn’t a classic - medical science and astrology is pretty thin fare. Far better when it’s UFO sightings, ghosts and proper paranormal themes.

:D

First time I've listened in...since maybe the first time I listened a year ago or so. I didn't catch the end of it, how did she end the relationship?

Also, love how he has said to the last two callers - Pirate Jack and Bildenberg group - ''We could talk all night, but we can't and have to hurry up.''

Now the Gadget Detective, good ol' Fevzie!

Maybe we'll get Dozy up followed by Al 'Pathetic with a capital P' Rantel and Sharon Livingstone (Dozy's travel person).

She underwent an exorcism and that did the trick :) Will have to remember that in case the need arises.

Sometimes his show is just so madcap, it is irresistible.

Anyone know what happened between Howard Hughes and Iain Lee? Iain said the other day he doesn't listen to Howard anymore... it seems they like fell out when Iain was slagging off some psychic guest.

I love his voice.

Yes, a bit put on etc, but is he from Wales or Liverpool? I really cannot make out where he is originally from underneath the ''Hallllllllooooooo, Immmmmmmmm Howaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrd Hugggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhes,"

I really need to mind and listen more to this, caught bits of it two weeks ago and it was cracking. Speaking to a UFO sighter (person who's seen UFOs?) and the madcap Yank kept trying to move the conversation in a different direction, but HH kept bringing it back to the UFO topic and in the end 10 minutes of squaring a circle that wasn't a circle in the first place!

Scouse. He often mentions it. His dedication on giving his global audience (on podcast at least) the local weather for North London where he now lives, is to be admired.
