Think Rufus Hound is in for Iain this week. Will listen and see how it goes. Hope he gets Nigel and Jonathon from Swansea early doors, to test his mettle.

He was excellent with Jonathon- I think it may have took the latter by surprise actually. Is it known what Jonathon does for a job/his circumstances?

Re: Iain Lee
Heard bits and pieces - seemed a decent listen. Missed the Ken and Jonathan calls, unfortunately. Chemistry with the lovely Kath was pleasing.

I'm surprised that he managed with Jonathon to be honest. I missed his call, but might try the podcast later. Don't know what his circumstances are, as his views tend to be the talking point, when he phones up.

I heard him calling in again tonight and I like how Rufus engages and challenges what he's saying. It comes across as very genuine and he sounds like a natural for the late-night-talk-radio-show type of thing. 'Basically', the first time he called in, Rufus told him off whilst explaining why his opinions were incorrect, it was a well-managed intervention. I think Jonathon just wants to be heard, regardless of the reception he gets.

Jonathan is a troubled soul. Rufus dealt with him very well, and is so far an excellent stand-in for Iain (is he off for one or three weeks? I heard two versions...)

Re: Iain Lee
It was Jonathan from Swansea that ripped Fatty Forde a new arsehole on air, wasn't it? Didn't he make Forde cry or something?

He certainly made Forde laugh even more manically than usual. Still on Youtube, thanks to Talkforum's grammar referee.

Yep. Pleasantly surprised by the bits of the show that I've heard. Would be all to easy to start ranting back at people like Jonathon, but Rufus handled the call superbly. Not sure if Iain is on standby for that Celebrity shite?

Apparently he is going to be on the Celeb program.
Wonder if the Mikes will get his 10-1 slot when Whaley comes back this week.

Yep, that's been confirmed today. Pity I don't watch shit like that.
Rufus Hound is on all this week again. He was good last week.

I caught an hour of him last week and he was good. I'll try and listen more this week.
