In context, Talk 107 in Edinburgh, run by UTV, only got 100,000 listeners in that area and the service was canned by them.

To be honest I don't the figures are that bad. The seem a reasonable base to build on.

Are there any figures for the breakfast show..? Average of 3-odd hours listening each day, that's just Iain Lee, right? ;)

I realise some folks think Bob Mills is a godfather of comedy but to me he just sounds like your drunk uncle at Xmas...almost unitelligible and barely amusing.

He's always slurring but he doesn't drink apparently.

Wiki credits him for writing Robson Green and Michael Barrymore vehicles, well nuff said.

Given some proper national advertising which it hasn't had the figures would probably double in a week.

If they put JHB on at the same time as that ghastly Sheelagh Fogarty on LBC, I'd switch over. I like'd John Holmes on the Now Show, but his radio programme is pitiful. So my radio just goes off at 1pm.

DAB and online platforms only are fucking shite. Most of us still want the good old radio as it used to be, then we'd all tune in in droves.

Blame this for the reason.
