As I cannot listen to the half-man Georgie Bingham at the weekend due to my head wanting to explode. I prefer to listen to the tranquil tones of the lovely Penny on the weekend mornings. It is filled with gentle mainly arty easy listening nonsense. But she knows how to string a sentence together and sometimes has an interesting guest.

She seems a good laugh. She was on that celebrity canal boat thing and was lovely.

I met her very briefly at a drinks launch a few years ago. She was pretty tipsy but very polite and friendly.

I think that George Galloway is doing the "mother of all talkshows" in place of Whale. I imagine Holmes is on holiday, but like Alan Brazil, it's hard to tell when the holidays end and the sick days begin.
