Rupert Bell - Political Correspondent

Post by Carlos J »

Ding Dong does the golf and horse racing for TS and his brother Michael has trained the Queen's horses. But yesterday, on the TS news referring to Dodgy Andy they went to talkRADIO'S Political Correspondent Rupert Bell. My flabber was truly gasted.

Is it an honorary title for anyone who does a report? Never heard of him down Westminster way with The Colonel. Though never listened to TR.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

I love old Rupert! Not heard him on TS for a while ; although only really listen to H&J and the odd bit of Brazil.

Another who needs a show at TS. Sadly the days of that are gone. TS going for the incredibly dull, stat radio these days rather than nonsense but fun radio like this.

Him and The Porkmeister were good and auld Boab wouldnae take any of Porky's blethers.

I do enjoy these square pegs in round holes moments. Mark Bosnich as a terrorism correspondent a particular favourite.

Ding dong has been on many times since. Not referred to as a 'political correspondent' that I have heard.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

I love it.

Sure one of the shows he did with Porky he was after saying that he he grew up with money and none of his family had any interest in football, but he loved it and started following Villa after going with some pals fae school and just loved it.

No denying he's posh, but I think he likes Joe Public and would be great to sit next to at a wedding. He'd be on the Jaeger's and in the club with Tinkers by the end of the night.

Yep - Rupert Bell has always seemed a decent sort.

Also lives in my neck of the woods in Warwickshire!

Didn't he run on the pitch a few years ago in a Cup match?

I'm sure I remember him coming on TS and defending it :D
