Schedule change...

talkRADIO are having a schedule change, it seems, and as is always the case, it is NOT an improvement.

This is what is being reported on the website at the moment:

MONDAY-TUESDAY
1900 Kevin O'Sullivan (not James Whale)
2200 Cristo Foufas

WEDNESDAY - THURSDAY
1300 Rob Rinder (not Ian Collins)
1900 Kevin O'Sullivan (not James Whale)
2200 James Whale (not Cristo Foufas)

FRIDAY
1300 Rob Rinder (not Ian Collins)
1900 Kevin O'Sullivan (not James Whale)
2200 TBC (seemingly not Cristo Foufas)

SATURDAY
0500 TBC (seemingly not Daryl Morris)
0700 TBC (seemingly not Kevin O'Sullivan)
1300 Trisha Goddard (not Bob Mills)
1700 onwards TBC (not last week's presenters, including Howard Hughes)

SUNDAY - seems the same apart from the morning shows as per Saturday

It doesn't seem to be presenters' going on holiday.

O'Sullivan on at 2100 my time is disastrous, as I cannot fucking stand the bloke. Whale now on too late for me. Rinder is, I am assuming, that deeply annoying pretend judge off the telly?

O'Sullivan openly slagged off the breakfast show slot. Don't think he was into it at all.

Seems like he's been reduced to Monday and Tuesday only. He's grown on me a LITTLE bit over the months, in the same way that I now find Colin Murray on Five at the same time a monumental bell-end, which wasn't my views on him til quite recently.

Interesting changes.

I had heard elsewhere that Christo had said something about his contract coming to an end, he was initially covering this time after Iain Lee got the tin tack.

Kevin has shown frequent annoyance about doing that very early breakfast so no surprise here and I expect he would have remained on the 10am slot if it hadn't had been for the Porky debacle.

Adding some clues up together,.I wouldn't be at all surprised if the 7am Sat morning shift has gone to Tonia Buxton....but I could be completely wrong!!

^^ yep, that's a good shout too. Carol Decker has been on quite a bit with Kev when I've tuned in. I think I heard Cristo is going to be doing Saturday mornings for the interim - until it's sorted. Im still guessing that Tonia might be lined up for it tho, given recent things she's said. I didn't necessarily think Penny Smith was a great fit but i think a female on weekend breakfast is a good idea.

Good point about talkRADIO's viability. Rumours are it's losing lots of money every year but I haven't seen an official source that confirms this. GB News won't help the cause...
