Harmison replied along the lines of 'when you look back, it's the full test match caps by which you are measured; the one-day stuff has its place but really didn't rank alongside'.

I wondered whether our 3-cap fallen hero was listening and then rushed off to read one of his motivational memes

Ronnie's Test career innings:
34, 1, 41, 1, 9

Of his 30 innings in ODIs, 7 of them were ducks.

To be fair, when you consider how shite he was, he's actually massively overperformed

He was a very solid county player, and a decent captain, but got found out massively at international level.
But if you read his book, he is incredibly bitter at how he was treated by England. He was fucking lucky to get the number of games he got.

In a strange sort of way, he was so bad , it makes you want him to come back and do a show just to remind us.
His banter with Brazil make some great car crash moments.

Its funny looking back on it, but at the time it was the worst radio ever put out by any radio station.

The Saggers world cup announcement day meltdown will forever only be the 2nd greatest moment on TS, always behind the moment the monumental bellendthat is RIIAC was outed as having been sacked.

Followed by Boozil when Cheltenham got cancelled, and he had the fucking nerve to blame it all on "the corporates"

Didn't he say that to David Buik about interest rates going up? :D

Best bit came after when he started digging a huge hole, claiming he knew it wasn't a good thing.

After Buik's stern 'telling off a three year old' style admonishment of, "No, Ronnie, thats a baaaad thing."

To be fair to Ronald, Buik's idea of something that's a good thing would be different from most people's, given that it would most likely involve him and his greedy City cronies filling their pockets at everyone else's expense
