TalkSport 5th Anniversary Documentary

Post by Champagne and Roses »

To celebrate their 5th anniversary (2004 ?) TS produced a documentary about the station. They were inordinately pleased with themselves about this (just as they are now when they make a documentary). In fact they got so carried away that you could only listen to it if you paid for a CD of it - it was £5 or £10 or similar - not sure if they ever broadcast it. This must have meant that hardly anyone heard it. Here is the first little section for Gerald Harper fans - the whole thing is over an hour long, I'll post it all here if anyone is interested ?

Wasn't there a book too, written by a bloke with a ridiculous name?

Quite a good account of Cascarino and Kinghorn's on-air punch up. The Brazil sackings. Rodney Marsh. Jon Gaunt. It's all in there.
