Group D: Nigeria vs Iceland

Post by Octavio »

Fuck it, seeing as it's Iceland....

Nigeria were pretty poor against Croatia and have also lost to England recently so they must be shit.

Although Iceland's point against lowly Argentina doesn't look too impressive now I'm expecting a 1-0 victory.

Which would leave Argentina pretty fucked.

We tried it at Sutton United after watching them do it at the Euro's, it doesn't really have the same impact when there is only 15 of you doing it :|

Cliche-tastic commentary, we've had longboats and now Thor mentioned.

Hopefully he's laying the groundwork to go in hard with some Nigerian cliches, stuff about email scammers and con-men etc.

This is the worst game I've watched so far, just nothing happening.

After 30 minutes decided not to wait till half time and had a wank. Now ready for the second half.

Iceland know win and they're practically through. Draw makes it much harder so just go all out for 45 minutes

You haven't watched either Uruguay games?

Fair point, I watched bits of both their games and they were dull but at least this one has livened up in the second half a little and we've seen a quality goal.
