You have a Chocolate Shop near you?

The local spar sells chocolate, that'll do!

Fair enough, mate
I didn't mean to fudge the issue.

We have three bookies, an all-purpose late-night “corner shop”, and a chocolatier - a mysterious Belgian woman who has cast a spell over the neighbourhood and taught us all to find the magic within ourselves.

I think someone made a film about her.

There actually cannot be a winner or loser in this argument. Football is entirely subjective. If you look at it one way, we lost and played dreadfully tonight so Im correct, if you look at it another way, weve played 3 won2 and lost 1, so youre right.

its not possible to be wrong. Im not trying to say anyone else is wrong, if you look, im not attacking anyones views that england are great, Im stating my views. You lot are telling me Im wrong, and I can't be, its football, its all opinion.

Football is a game of opinions, Landlord. But it is more a game of results. And that is the only thing that matters intimately.

Well yes indeed. And its not looking good.

Ive never thought Man Utd fans think fans think theyre good after a 6-1 victory over stalybridge celtic, so this reaction is odd in the extreme in my opinion.

I think you made some good points Easto but it’s been a strange group with two cannon fodder teams and a match against Belgium where both teams were under strength. Hard to judge really, but Colombia will provide the answers.

My opinion is England will ultimately fall short due to a lack of creativity in midfield and a dodgy keeper/ centre back pairing. Teams will have also figured out Henderson’s Hollywood diagonal ball and plan for it.

Colombia 2 - 0 eng

would have been a virtual bye against Japan
