I'm idly flicking through Freeview, assuming that the Australia game MUST be on one of the BBC channels, seeing as ITV are covering the other one, but not a sniff. I don't want to start a huge row, but we all know that if it was the Women's World Cup the beeb would be all fucking over it.

How very dare you. The womens world cup is the biggest sporting event on the planet, and totally deserved its insane amount of coverage, it wasnt because it supported an agenda and cost thruppence to buy the rights for because it was the equivilant of watching kids sunday league. It was AMAZING AND INSPIRATIONAL, for people who are shit at sports, that they, somehow, if they whine and stamp their feet hard enough, can be on telly and people will fake respect for them, without them having to earn it.
