It's not as if it's only Neymar that does it though. I've seen more players going down clutching their heads in this World Cup than in all the others put together.
They are, of course, trying to take advantage of the directive that refs HAVE to stop play for head injuries. It doesn't waste time, but it does break up opposition attacks, and generally adds nuisance value.
