He’ll be more insufferable than ever and wind us up even more than before. A win-win for him. He’ll perversely see this as a great opportunity to showcase his vast cuntary repertoire.

Croatia should on paper give England a harder game, but I'm not so sure after their last two performances.

Really didn't know who I wanted to win in that game, and found myself cheering for both teams!

A hard-working Russian team who make up in running and determination what they lack in skill backed by a home crowd going bananas for them ; or Croatia - a better side, who were fantastic in the first two games, but toiled a bit against Denmark and Russia, although eventually came through on penalties.

Time to dust out that old Hravtska top though!

The ponytail was a hair do quickly made at short notice. In fact you might say it was "Vida? So soon?"
Or then again you might not. :)

As an aside, I have interacted with more ridiculously fit Russian lasses today than on any other of my 2000 days in the Motherland. And I was with the missus.

Clearly 'Fit Bird Day' here today.
