I keep hearing Russia-based presenters telling me how HUGE it is back home, the street-parties, the high streets bedecked in flags and so on and so forth, but I've not seen any of that.
What's it like round your way? I don't mean people in pubs showing off and throwing beer around, I mean ordinary people caught up in the magic of it all. Even now I've seen fewer than half-a-dozen cars with flags, and no more than the usual amount of people with England tops on.

Seen a few flags on cars (tacky as anything) but it is usually people going about their business. Hardly any England shirts apart from when the matches are on.

I'm not currently not "with bird" but I have been using this world cup run to get my nuts in with drunken tarts who are pretending that they like football
I imagine if we win it I am going to be a fucking mess so hopefully the lads will set me up with some brasses if I don't pull

Did you buy it at a reduced price after the World Cup?

The worst thing about this tournament is all the recent footy experts. I was speaking to a lad earlier who was pissed off with Southgate because he makes five changes to his starting line-up for every game.
