Love a bit of G and T on a sunday morning

Not sure the US writers of the Times appreciate getting up at some godforsaken hour there to contribute though

5 months in and it's settled down nicely. Matt Chorley is a vast improvement on the narcissists on LBC and talkRADIO at 10am. I'm still loyal to H and J, but tune in to Pienaar at 4. The contributors always look to inform rather than lecture and Tom Newton Dunn is probably the best informed journalist out there. The overnight podcasts are excellent

If I'm being picky, I don't much like the 4 day/3 day rota for the shows and the 10pm weekend presenter is a bit lightweight (sorry Kait)
All good points Holden and who knows, in a few months / weeks, I may get fed up with it. Giles Coren is a bit hyper and full of himself.

When he had Mark Dolan on with him the other day, I thought they were a bit insufferable.

Agree about TND but I like GdeP too.
Coren is and always has been a cunt.

First Rajars since March 2020 just released. Times Radio has a bigger audience than talkRADIO. Doesn't look like tR is the world's fastest growing radio station any longer.

Neither from what I can tell but I only listen to a fraction it's output, fairly centrist I'd say.

Breakfast team, soft left

Matt Chorley, soft right

Don't bother with Frostrup

Jon Piennaar and Carole Walker, two good solid ex BBC journos

No fuckwit members of the public are allowed on air. Content led, no shit for clicks that LBC are notorious for.

Tom Newton Dunn at 10am on sunday morning presents the best politics programme on the radio

Bunter Boulton leaving Sky News at the end of the year and looking at new broadcasting opportunities

This morning's Times newspaper had a sympathetic interview with him
