400 quid just for a bike frame?
Bit extravagant for a proud working-class man, Lash…

It does come with wheels and pedals

I think mine's a different model - different price anyway - but I like it, and yes, it hurts your arse (don't like that).

Problem I have is the maintenance stuff.

I don't ride it on roads, so getting it to cycle shops is a nightmare - removing the wheel, nowhere to park etc.

I don't cycle much any more, Lash-o, but bike saddles always make your bum sore the first couple of times, but you get used to it.
Good for you, anyway. Now, don't be jumping any red lights and barking orders at drivers, will you… :D

Yeah I can foresee getting pissed off with the maintenance of it........time will tell I suppose :?

I'm going to try to avoid roads as well mate, I know what I'm like when I overtake cyclists so bollocks to that......my first adventure is going to be the Wandle trail from Mitcham up to the Thames at Wandsworth, I think it is 90% cycle paths, if I survive it I will write a trip report 8)

Today I bought

Chicken breasts
Asparagus
Sprouts
Americano coffee with milk on the side
Financial Times newspaper

Just a point of order, it was I who created this original thread.

Now time for me to go back to another several years of non-posting. :D

Hope everyone is doing well.

Last minute Christmas presents. Apparently people prefer 'experience packages' these days.   Can't wait to receive another Baylis and Harding beauty set this year! :D

They were getting rid of Tesco Finest Chorizo with Sherry for 62p, so bought all five. Best before date end of February, lovely.

That reminds me, anyone know where I can et some sobrassada. It's a Majorcan sausage but softer than chorizo. Sainsburys advertise it but can't find a store which actually has it.
