Not strange at all, merely typical of this newspaper.
An area of Oldham has a high virus rate, now falling.
Reported in the Manchester Evening News.
This is a selection of comments that the newspaper allows, because it’s a largely Muslim area. These have been online for hours.

"Biblical dump"
"They live like animals and are so backward they might as well be living in the dark ages."
"Put a wall around the place let them live the way they live like animals."
"a scummy place full of animals. "

Just a hint of ""bigotry.
