Ha. Danny King is in the cafe looking like a smooth silver fox.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Haven't seen Nigel yet, Jock. Just been in the auditorium, you get half hour slots. Venue is great but a bit higgledy higgledy whereas NY was open spaces.

Game is fed on, Carlsen using loads of time. Here you go, she's very pale. :)

Nice! Game looks a bit boring today. What's the vibe?

It could fade to a draw but time could be an issue for Carlson. Vibe is good, very busy, standing room only watching Judit and Anna. Lots of little rooms with things going on.

Flurry of moves at the end and draw. Judit and Anna now interviewing film director Bennett Miller.

Was in the auditorium at the end and quite exciting.

Wank bank memory. Anna went for a comfort break and came back and had her mic fixed right next to me. Tech was fiddling with her low cut top and she bent down and got a cracking view of her small tits. :wnk: No snap possible.

Yeah, just need to recover from dreaded lurgy. Which, funnily enough, I got in London last week when some cunt coughed in me face.

Hope it clears, Jock. The week after might be better as nearer the end.

Game 2 of 12, first to 6.5 wins:

Carlsen 1 - 1 Caruana.

Today is a rest day, game 3 on Monday.

Karpov always struck me as the Soviet yes man and reading the book mentioned here a few pages back does nothing to dispel that: https://www.talkforum.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... &start=240

But there is something about him I do like.

Bobby Fischer if fired up v Karpov in the game that never was in 1975 would have been a belter.

Deffo. A nice guy I think. I have come to appreciate him. Has a sense of fun which doesn't come across in his games but he's good in the interviews I've seen. Impressed too that he tried to visit arch enemy Gazza when he was in prison. Kinda brave really.

Fischer v Karpov would have been immense. BF was playing at about 2900 rating in 71-72. Won 21 games in a row. Destroyed everyone on the run in to Spassky.
