Game 3 yesterday. Here's Jerry:

And Danny King:

A Sicilian Rossolimo same as game 1, but no seven hours and 115 moves as Friday. Shortly after time control, 49 moves, hands were shaken.

It wasn't that bad, Magnus:

Image

Best of 12, first to 6.5 wins:

Carlsen 1.5 - 1.5 Caruana

Draws may seem like bores, but like 2016, the longer it goes without a win, the more the pressure ramps up as any mistake could prove decisive for the match.

Game 4 starting in just over an hour and will watch from my hotel in a Biblical rain hit New York. It's pissing down and floods feared so fuck that.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Game 4 in London is an English Opening, 1 c4.

Watching mostly Svidler and Sopiko with flicks to Judit and Anna. Wonder if old Grischuk only appears after picking his kid/s up from school as can often hear them in the background.

Carlsen going for the queenside attack, Caruana holding centre, early days with only 17 moves gone.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Watching between bouts of coughing like a fucker.

Finding the last two games a bit boring though. Bit of a grind innit. I wanna see some piece sacs.

Games 1 and 2 were quite good - maybe Davis v Hendry.

Deffo Thorburn v Graham Miles at the mo.

Need some Higgins v O'Sullivan at some point.

Draw. Yeah some Higgins v Ronnie would be nice but always get something out if the draws.

Hope you're feeling better soon, Jock.

Game 5 yesterday. Here's Jerry:

And Danny King:

A Sicilian Rossolimo same as game 1 and game 3 and after 34 moves, a draw.

Best of 12, first to 6.5 wins:

Game 6 starting shortly. Will we get a decisive result. Carlsen now has white for two games as the starts reversed after 6 games.

Yeah, watching him and Peter and Sopiko. They're not overly impressed.

Maybe tomorrow, Jock. ;) Or not, maybe Sunday.
