Wild hard that Geography round today.

I had to guess at about five of them and couldn’t believe four of those guesses were right.
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

I just entered under the pseudonym of RossCo5, and I wish to protest that I got a question wrong on the basis of the Ancient lighthouse of Alexandria having been in Egypt.
In fact it was of course in Olbia, which is in modern Lybia.

This is exactly the sort of sloppy refereeing which got Cardiff City relegated isn't it ?

Well I'm not going to make the same mistake as Sir Neil Warnock did and start swearing and shouting because he got fined twenty grand , but I think the world knows that I've been robbed.

I've still not learned and clearly never will remember which redneck wore number 62 on his helmet in the 1949 Nascar race in some shitty one horse town.

Wasn't til I went to the States that I realised how massive college sports are - they seem to be as popular if not more so than the pros.

I always struggle on the Geography rounds, though, whereas Ol' Pet breezes through them.
Conversely, he seems to struggle on Friday's round, but I find them straightforward (usually).

World UK throws up some curveballs from time to time, too – random EastEnders questions being the worst :x

Oh Yeah, college sports is massive stateside, especially American Football and the massive stadiums. Been to bars with tons of screens showing all sorts and been to college basketball in NY as was great.

Cheers, Pet.
I forgot to play yesterday – was our wedding anniversary yesterday so me and Mrs Subsub were out on the town. Had one too many sherbets and fell asleep when I got home. Luckily it didn't change the scores in the end

Are you going back to Carvoeiro again?
