Eh?
The time of month you play has no bearing; it all depends on how many players play on a particular day.

I still think it's madness that someone who scores 10 in 100 seconds beats someone who gets 9 in 20 seconds, but there you are.
Anyway, you beat me today, Holden!

I wish that Uncle Ralph fellow would play a full month on here.

I fancy having a buckle with him.

Agreed, he always does really well when he does play.

And agreed. But it would be too complicated to do I suppose to have time penalties for slower players.

Sub 10 in 55 seconds is interesting. Usually a speed player, the quickest here. I'm mostly shit or bust and quick under 30 seconds. A few thinking may take it up to 40 or 50 seconds. Fuck though, I can't remember the last time over 50 seconds. And that's why I have many 7/10s ruining the good work. :(

That's why Sub is a great winner. Playing a long game is a risky game if many 10s. And safety first ain't good if chasing points.

The 9 in 20 seconds was chastening. Silly mistake.
But went too far the other way today

Cheers, pal :)

I am glad I got it over the line this month....I had developed a bad case of seconditis over the past few months.

When you got that 7 the other day, I thought I had a chance. If I'd nailed a sub-20 10, it might have been enough, but not to be… :(

I know.....I thought it was curtains for me that night as well.

The problem for you was....and was for me a couple of days when you had a bad score....is that there were not enough players to make my 7 score really significant.

I lost only one point on you.....with more than ten players I would have been below the line and that kind of score would be really damaging.
