Here is a tip.

Re baseball questions.

If New York Yankees is an option....it is invariably the right one.

If Sandy Koufax is there.....he is usually your guy.

Ditto Il Bambino.

And whilst we are at it.....I have yet to see a literary question where J.K. Rowling is not the correct answer if her name is on the list :)
Another tip is if one of the choices is something along the lines of "all of the above" then that's the right answer.

Scene in Melling Manor earlier today.

Ol’ Pet sat in t’ yard, having a quiet glass of Sav Blanc whilst reading a book.

(Cloudstreet by Tim Winton since you ask)

Enter the Big Girl, whom had last been spotted laying on top the bedclothes, doing whatever she does on her tablet.

Big Girl.....I have just done your little Quiz.

ol’ Pet.....you wha?

BG...that little Quiz you do. I just did it.

ol’Pet.....you wha?

BG......I did very well. I only got two wrong.

Lightbulb moment.....ol’ Pet remembers he logged into TF Quiz on aforementioned tablet last night.

Ol’ Pet....you fucking did what :x

BG.....don’t you dare speak to me like that.

And she storms off, stage right.

So ol’ Pet goes to see the damage.

It is worse than she said....7 for 198

And me and the Subster racing neck and neck before today :(

I have to say, Pet, if Mrs Subsub ever did that, I would be furious!

Nice one, Pet - great performance this month, and had a good round when it mattered.

*raises glass of Cava to Ol' Pet* :drinkers:

Am off to Devon for a week this Saturday, so will be playing with the dreaded tablet, but have told Mrs Subsub she is not allowed to play on my behalf

I'm quite happy with holding onto the 6th position for the 3rd month in a row.
