I think 15-16 seconds is about the quickest it would be physically possible to do it.
The trick is not to read all the questions and answers! The same ones come up so often, you can't hang about (eg the Buddhism/nirvana one, the if 3x=60 how much is x? etc), so you can often just look at the first couple of words then click the answer.
I've done 18/19 secs before, once or twice, but I'd struggle to go quicker than that.
There was a guy called 'indianwells' who kept getting 10 in 14 seconds, and that was definitely dodgy.
I was doing 10 for 13 or 14 that time I spotted the anamoly and all the right answers were the first one on the list
But yes.....I look at the answers before the questions.
And apart from those ones you mention, any list with the Yankees is invariably the right answer and I have yet to see J.K.Rowling in a list where she was not the right answer.
Plus your old favourite....you don’t need to read the question if “Sodomites” in among the answers
