I can't remember enjoying a book so much in years. Read it in one go, though with a sleep in between.
Even if, like me, you have no absolutely interest or experience in video games that is no handicap to enjoying this book.

New Spielberg film of it out in a month or so, and though the trailers look really good visually they've apparently completely changed the first third of the book and that was the best part, so I think thats fucked it up.
Oh, and to get the authentic grimy look of the poverty and degradation of a third world Columbus Ohio in 2045 with mass stacked trailer parks, violence, abject poverty, filth and depravity on a grand scale, they filmed it in Brum

Fantastic book, though always preferred '1984' over ''Brave New World', though different if asked the question of err dystopian novels. And not just as an Orwell fan.

Reading for tennisman. one of the Nesbø's from the charity shop. As per, slow burners, the opposite of the Patterson's err of this world.

Read that as part of my GCSE Engrish Litature course.

Loved it, then forgot it. Will have to grab a copy now I think.
I might have done one - not sure but possible.

Do you know this one? It's considered to be the book that inspired Orwell.

I reading something Ive never tried before, a graphic novel, now I thought it would just be a superhero comic or something, but google play books recommended it to me, read the free sample, liked it, bought it. Its like a reimagining of how the jack the ripper murders happened, and its fucking excellent, Ive even bought the hardback copy as I think this kind of thing would be best read as a book. Its not a short thing either, coming in at 580 pages, so this is not a comic, and the pictures are really well done and certainly add something to the story.

Will definitely be on the look out for more things like this in the future, graphic novels seem to be quite cool.

Strange book. Former NYPD cop who tagged along with the late Malachi Martin. Sarchie knows what he is talking about and has clearly been around demonic spirits/beings. Reading it is trying at at times though. He is very Catholic in many ways.Although chooses not to obey that churches reforms of Vatican Council II, thankfully. No pope boy you aren't Christ on earth.....so wise of the author to not go with such mental beliefs....more so if going up against demonic beings. A decent but at times choppy read at times and a bit repetitive.

It also got a reprint under a different title due to a Hollywood movie which changed loads from the book called 'Deliver Us From Evil'.
