Read it last weekend.

Swift and an excellent read. Perfect for today's news regarding borders/home.

Hope you enjoy it. I haven't read anything else by him, have you? I really want to though.

She worked alongside him at a suicide prevention hotline, if I remember my true crime podcasts correctly.

You do remember correctly, my Mod mate. Know a bit about Bundy, but ordered her book for a few quid on Amazon.

Ann Rule, former plod turned writer worked with Ted Bundy at the Seattle Suicide Hotline Crisis Centre just before (or not) he started killing. Only 60 pages in but a fascinating read.

Have had another Amazon and charity shop spluge this year and got at least 20 books to read and need another bookcase as just filing up anyu old space now. Must stop buying. Or give the charity shop specials back.

Short stories from Tom Hanks.

I'm four stories in and its fine enough, but I doubt it would have been published if it was Hom Tanks.

Not as yet, Kevin. I'm working my way through the Booker Prize nominees and this one is standing out like a sore thumb. In a good way.

Sounds like he tells 'em better than he writes 'em.

Really enjoying these graphic novels at the moment, its a really good experience reading with pictures, and theyre such nice things to have to come back to to look at the illustrations.

This in particular is excellent, its a tale of a polish jews experiences as though hes telling his son the story. The broken english the book is written in fits it perfectly. theyre mice as well.

Eaststand wrote:I reading something Ive never tried before, a graphic novel, now I thought it would just be a superhero comic or something, but google play books recommended it to me, read the free sample, liked it, bought it. Its like a reimagining of how the jack the ripper murders happened, and its fucking excellent, Ive even bought the hardback copy as I think this kind of thing would be best read as a book. Its not a short thing either, coming in at 580 pages, so this is not a comic, and the pictures are really well done and certainly add something to the story.

Will definitely be on the look out for more things like this in the future, graphic novels seem to be quite cool.

Alan Moore has done some amazing stuff easto. Worth checking out. When you're back of course.
