I was having a meal at someone’s house, with a lot of guests, when someone mentioned something about pissing in swimming pools.

I made some comment about how surely it’s only very young kids who might do that, and everyone openly admitted that they had done it as adults.

I was shocked.

I have never pissed in a pool, and would never dream of doing so.

I genuinely had no idea that it was considered normal behaviour.

West Ham fans, Reg?

Pissing in the sea, fair enough, you're away from loos and at the beach a while, hopefully rehydrating. Pissing in a pool as an adult is a cunts trick as you're probably no more than 50m away from the changing rooms, you should have gone before, if not you're not swimming for hours so should have some decent bladder control, and if you need to desperately go, just get out and go to the changing rooms.

Disgusted.

The worst thing about training for me is using public swimming pools, people are vile.

Yeah, the great unwashed can be scummy, uncouth and generally distasteful, but you don't have to interact if your pool is set up in a decent way.

I went for a swim last night..Pretty empty, which was good, however even when busy it's always set up half lanes ( Fast, Medium, Slow) and half for the general public who don't want to lane swim.

Two worst places to catch something, planes and swimming pools. In pools, people turn up filthy, piss, flob, and sneeze in the water. You need water to be 60 plus to kill germs, so they just survive and spread.

Plasters. Why the fuck do people wear plasters in the pool?

When the water in the Victoria Dock feels cleaner than Crystal Palace pool you know humans are filthily.

Couple of Spurs and Arsenal, the rest non-aligned, as far as I’m aware.

To be on the safe side, as it can take up to one week for it to work, you could wear one of these, fit it with a microscope, and swim in between the E. coli, Salmonella, Camplobacter, and noroviruses. Reasonably priced on E-bay
