Thought that the concept of April fools had become obsolete years ago when the media thought they would be sued for fucking loads.

BMW used to run joke ads in the Telegraph promoting some spurious new technology . If you were interested you had to write to a man called Hugh Felfret.
Today a very nice fish and chip restaurant in Southport has issued a press release, saying that people often ask what they do with used cooking oil. So they have decided to turn in it into a scent called "Essence de Poisson" which they reckon will prove irresistible to men because of the fish and chip aroma.
