Climbing walls
Anyone tried climbing before ? It looks quite fun and a good social thing. Was thinking might give it a go when I’m feeling physically better . It looks like a good workout

It is good fun, you'll just have the learn to live with 12 year olds zooming past you up the wall.

Book some lessons. You'll find it much more fun.

It’s going to be in the next Olympic Games I think. It’s one of the fastest growing sports

I took lessons when the local place started. It's a good workout but I found it boring after a few weeks.

Enjoyed it when done it, but not taken it any further.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Well, there's no real variety climbing up walls. What's the long term motivation unless you're working towards goals like climbing faster or if you're on a fitness regime?

Could come in handy for someone looking to take up a career in burglary.

A good bit of exercise. Only done indoor climbing, the last at the centre in Keswick 18 months ago
Good fun, not so much fun if you don’t trust machined ropes/heights or your mates if that are on the belay duties
