Good kuck, Vespa. :smt023
Had surgery sitting up in bed now, reading a new book.

Blimey, that was quick

Good luck pal.

Hope your recovery goes as quickly and smoothly as is possible

Back from my two weeks in hospital having a stoma fitted. My new baseline is everyone in the room and hear my poop being pushing into a bag under my shirt. Onto chemo.

Yikes. :( I'm sorry, Vespa. Stay strong; good luck with the chemo. Keep us updated, etc. :)

Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

I can't go running, riding, swimming or to the gym. Not allowed to work because it could kill me and I don't much fancy sex.

In short I'm very very very bored.

Have you considered writing? Writing will keep you motivated and your mind active. I'm not sure what your interests are besides sports and physical activities but you could write a novel or an essay, or review television programmes and films. :)

I have considered writing a book, for many years. I'll find some stuff to do, it's just a little tedious at the moment.

Just catching up with this.

Part of the reason I haven't been on here much is due to going through something similar with Crohn's.

We can be stoma buddies :D

Seriously, if you need any help or advice with stoma care, please feel free to drop me a PM.

Wishing you all the very best, Vespa, and hopefully a speedy recovery.

Fucking hell, Sid :(

Thar's not good.

As someone who has experienced my fair share of health issues myself, nothing is more important than your health. You take care of yourself.

As with Vespa, wishing you a full recovery ASAP.
