Embrace the bald.

Who needs blonde hair anyhow?

Not that long, but not that far off. I thought I was super cool.

I'm having a picc line inserted in the morning, so I'm just chilling at the moment, another weird thing plugged into me. I'm starting to look like a borg :)

Best of luck Vespa.

I was on a 'biologic' for my crohn's, but they stopped it as it wipes out the immune system and they didn't want to risk me gettin Covid, even though I've been shielding 🙄
Untreated crohn's for 13 weeks is fucking grim!!
I have to go on a kind of chemo in July, a biologic infusion, they call it.
Not looking forward, but reading your posts have put it into perspective!!
So thanks for sharing!!

I just go along with it, as you know the treatments are hardly optional. Once you give in to the inevitability of side effects it's just a mental game.

Just started a different chemo regime for the next 12 weeks, it seems the original regime I took for three months didn't work as well. The tumour shrunk little but it still too large to kill with radiation or cut out. Hence they are trying this one, the only downside is my hair is going to fall out that and for two days I'm attached to a pump I need to carry around with me.

Behold my cancer pump for my new chemo, it's attached to what use to my bicep where is pumps fluorouracil into my heart for 48 hours. My partner, who I now call nursey, has been taught how to change it and clean my dressing.

I'm hoping for a bed bath.

I just have to wait for the inevitable hairloss now, when it starts I'll be going full blady with the clippers.
