Week one on chemo was brutal week two much better, round two of four coming up.
I've been told by the NHS to leave the house for 12 weeks unless a hospital appointment. My next chemo round day looks like this:
1 turn up get blood taken
2. go and sit in the carpark
3. about 90 minutes later go to see the doctor
4. go sit in the car
5. two hours later go to the chemo room for tubes and drugs.
Honestly, during week one I thought I was really going to struggle but as it's gone on it has been much better.
My only concern now is covid bumps my final surgery from August to later.
And the cancer UK adverts make me cry.

Mine was caught when I went to A&E with crippling pain, but you're right if it happened now I'd be fucked.

I'm so bored, never realised how much time I spent running, swimming and riding my bike.
Every day I get up, have a shower, play google Stadia, have lunch then read a book.
I'm living the life of a retired tax inspector.
