Neither of us has seen any of our family for over 18 months now, zoom is fine but no replacement for sharing a meal. Hopefully, vaccination and flights will be a thing this year.

Sorry to hear that, Vespa. Fingers crossed you'll both get a chance to see them in the next months or at least by summer.

Glad you got the all clear Vespa. Take it gently.

Apparently my cousin rang the big bell after her last treatment!

It think they do that when they give you chemo after cancer has been removed to make sure they kill off any stray cancer cells. I didn't do that because I'd had nine months of chemo before my tumour was revmoed and I'm too toxic. Would have loved to ding dong.

My rehab plan is off to a slow slow start. I've broken it into eight week sprints.

I'm on a 5:2 diet; vegan during the week, meat and stuff at the weekend.

Walking my flat 5k route, doing bodyweight and resistance bands every day.

Hardly iron man stuff but it's nice to be moving.

Re: My earlier diagnosis of liver and lung cancer which I didn't have, It's now HIV which has brought on Lymphoma cancer, which I have been told by the specialist that it's treatable and curable, and started chemo on Tues, so fingers crossed 🤞🤞
I have greatest respect for Rugby Union, they started it mid-way through the 19th century. Thankfully we grabbed it and turned it into a spectacle on 29th August 1895
