Best wishes Gene. Hopefully not bad AIDS.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

No not bad Aids apparently I got it years ago from doing homemade tattoos 😞but it was undiscovered for some reason but the treatment I get is just 2 tablets a day for life and within a month or so my hiv reading will down to neglible readings
I have greatest respect for Rugby Union, they started it mid-way through the 19th century. Thankfully we grabbed it and turned it into a spectacle on 29th August 1895

The progress on HIV is amazing, thirty years ago it was a death sentence.

Hang in there, Gene. Some of the advancement of HIV medication has been unbelievable.

Great to hear, Vespa. I feel you with the slow start to exercise. I needed an iron infusion in November -was really struggling going up stairs/running was almost impossible, and I've ran/hiked for the past 12 years almost five times a week. So been sticking to walking fairly flat and mild hilly terrain, almost a bit scared to start running again; but will when get new bloods done in Feb. Was fearing the worst, had the endoscopy and colonoscopy and all clear - one wee polyp removed - but the docs wree baffled by being anemic; the iron levels were going up after the infusion so hoping it's working.

I went out before sunrise and slipped in the driveway, not even running and I'm already eating shit.

Hope the treatment works, good luck.

That's what the specialist told me, they said it's not the death sentence it used to be and can live a normal (ish) life now, the are more concerned about the cancer but the said its treatable and curable so fingers crossed 🀞

I read an article a few years ago about HIV treatments where they said studies showed that life expectancy wasn't impacted by HIV now if you were on a treatment regime.

That's what I've been told I could more or less live a normal full life now, as soon as they beat the cancer so 🀞🀞
