Lockdown achievements?

Post by kevin04 »

Have you started a new (or old) hobby during these last few weeks? If so, what have you been doing and how is it going?

Are you a social hawk and your life has changed a lot? With the lack of pubs, dining and ability to wheel and deal your way around town? Or has the new regulations not changed much at all about your life?

And how do you feel? Are you feeling OK, or are you feeling a bit down? Have you done a virtual pint or quiz or Zoomed your pals, family even enemies?

Get your lockdown achievements in this thread here.

The bad

Working every day from home is sending me mad.

Drinking more as a result to switch off from work.

The news and social media will fuck people’s (my) head up before long.

A foot injury meaning I haven’t left the house for 10 days (with the exception of the below curry) although I’m hoping it’s nearly good enough to get out for at least a walk tomorrow

The good

Regular Friday “pub night” VC calls with my mates that involve numerous beers and laughs.

My local curry house is still open for takeaways. And they let me have a self isolated beer whilst I wait

No achievements. Feel good. No problems whatsoever.

Drawing.
Trying to sort out my shed.
Stop trying to sort out my shed.
Thinking of setting shed on fire.
Realising shed is built like a concrete bunker so won't burn and doesn't actually belong to me anyway.
Crying a bit with frustration.
More drawing.

I've been sat in front of the computer for about 4 days doing backdated admin and it's done my fucking head in. I didn't realise how much I had to do. I've hardly slept because of mental exhaustion. I haven't even posted on here between bouts for light relief.

The good news is when it's up to date I'm handing it to some other cunt to do it lock stock and barrel never to be returned to again so it's not all in vain.

Starting using my running machine for 20 mins at a time and taking an hour to get my breath back. It's o.k cycling or walking but running really shows how fucked my lungs are, i fear the machine. :(

Perfecting the plastic cock wank. Learned that it's better if you only pump it up half way. A fill on pumping actually decreases the spurt factor. The nurse didn't tell me this. Despite her pumping the bloody thing up for me a few times.

I haven't had a shave for a month. I look like Alvin Martin (when he didn't have a shave for a month).
