We're looking for locations for my holiday tour next year. My pet yank is looking at places off the beaten track that are lovely but not well known to general tourism, so we're looking at New Mexico ski resorts in the summer that seem idelic.
So what spots have you been to that hardly anyone has heard of but are amazing?
I'd start with helgelandskysten in Norway which is the most beautiful trip anywhere in the World https://www.nasjonaleturistveger.no/en/ ... andskysten

Oh, la-de-da. Good for you. Whilst the rest of us key workers slog our guts out during a pandemic you panic about where to spend your holiday? Sick.Take a holiday from yourself and get a grip. I can't believe the nerve of you. How about you stay home and the money you save you donate to the NHS?

How do you know they are nice places if you have never heard of them?

It'll go one of two ways. A nice holiday, or inoperable cancer. I'm hoping for the former.carcinogen wrote: ↑Sat Jul 18, 2020 5:45 pm

LOL, I meant any towns I don’t know in Bavaria now which I may otherwise visit, if that makes any sense.Sid Pervcat wrote: ↑Sun Jul 19, 2020 9:18 pmYou've never heard of Bavaria, Mein Lawnz??kancutlawns wrote: ↑Sat Jul 18, 2020 5:25 pm Will let you know after I’ve been to Bavaria in August.
