A funeral

Post by VeritasVincit »

Image

This a funeral procession.
The deceased? One of two men who refused to stop for police and raced off, very shortly colliding with two other cars.
These two were killed. The occupants of the other cars — four serious injuries.

You may be able to deduce something about the two killed drivers and their communities. Most people in this area had no trouble working it out.

The one in this procession had a “send off fit for a king”.

Although the two killed lived in houses, they were part of the traveller community., Many do live settled lives.
They are, to put it mildly, unpopular in many palce.
One thing that is common is the crap work they do, especiually paving, tarmac etc, ripping off the poor sods conned into usiung them.
If you want some examples of them from round here, you can have them, but not tonight, as my eyes are showing some straina dand I can hardly se whati. typimng.

Nothing wrong with being hateful towards certain people.
There's no poem, just prose.

Why don't they attend courses that enable them to do quality paving work and earn a living as reputable tradesmen ?
They do not want to pay for the correct materials and tools.
