He's right, Kanc. Your wife shouldn't treat you like that. That's the problem with some wives and girlfriends, especially the latter (sorry, ladies, it's true): they nag their husbands too much. There is nothing wrong with being bossy from time to time, but unnecessary and constant nagging is a passion killer.

I know how it looks and you’re right to an extent. I like being at home though, feel like I have more control than when I was in the office before Covid came. I feel I have more of a responsibility being at home and I do enjoy it. Have more time to do what I enjoy what I like doing and just end up trying to be more efficient and being a bit more conscientious about doing things on time.lambrini wrote: ↑Sat Jan 23, 2021 9:49 pmHe's right, Kanc. It sounds like you're doing fine, Kanc. Working from home has its pros and cons. Lockdown is a difficult time for almost everyone.kancutlawns wrote: ↑Sat Jan 23, 2021 10:30 pmI know how it looks and you’re right to an extent. Re: Central heating in winter
Seems like a reasonable thing to do if you're in the house alone but you're still heating the room using electricity which is expensive compared to gas. Not cool but get a few sets of thermal underwear, like long johns, doubt you'll even need the heater.kancutlawns wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 10:33 am With fuel bills the way they are, do you find you have to find a balance between rationing it’s usage against the need to keep warm? As I work from home and everyone else goes out, I put it on from 7.00 to 8.30 in the morning then put myself in a small room for the day with a small oil heater. Then whack it on again from 6.00 - 8.30 in the evening when the house gets lovely and toasty.
9.00-10.30 and then 1700-2000 on weekends.
Christmas week with everyone at home, have whacked it on 9.30-11.00.

Stick the heating on for your women you utter wenises.
Unless you want to driver her into the arms of a proper man who doesn’t agonise over a fucking THERMOSTAT.

Always better to be a little cold than a bit hot.
Makes people more productive in the office, too. GET ON WITH IT! etc

Feck you all cold worshippers...my lady goes gooey when she sees me in my piss stained long johns. I'll wear a stetson for her bargirl/cowboy fantasy but my pistol remains warm and holstered otherwise i'll accidentally shoot myself.
