Some of the e-cigs things I've seen look like automatic pistols with a spare magazine attached.
At times I think I preferred the stench of tobacco to the myriad smells they puff out these days.

Yeah, but you'd have to even it up. Allow people to vape in your face, but also allow those who have been vaped to headbutt the vaper.
This would then be a deterrent to both vapers, who are happy to pollute the air in indoor places, and also Ben Stokes wannabees. Kills two birds with one stone like.
