Yes, the people voted correctly to leave the EU. If it's a mess it's because too many people, including those in power, are trying to make it so. Proof if proof were needed, that their allegiance is to the EU and not to this country.

Absolutely spot on Darky. And let's not forget there are endless ways the establishment - the ones who want to be governed by the EU for what they can get from it personally , are prepared to scupper our exit so it is indeed a disaster.

Such deliberate sabotage does not equate with the whole idea being the disaster the doom mongers are predicting. For instance, if Corbyn wins the next election and major businesses decide to uproot themselves, it'll be blamed on Brexit.

We haven't even got started yet on what will also be blamed on Brexit when the reality is it will be a mix of gross incompetence and deliberate sabotage.

I don't understand why leavers are talking themselves into a bad Brexit. Whatever deal May gets is likely to be the best deal ever cut between the EU and a non-EEA member, probably the same deal any other non 'walk away on WTO rules' headbanger would have gotten.

However, there seems to be a very vocal contingent of leavers who seem to think any deal cut with the EU is going to be shit. Until Mogg, Boris and other half-wits like IDS start telling any media outlet that would listen it was all going to be shit the campaign for a 2nd vote was going nowhere. Now, thanks largely to leaver Tories whining how awful any deal is going to be it can he hundreds of thousands of people to march for one.

I've never seen so many people so unhappy they got what they wanted.

Is James Dyson part of a plot to make the Brexit supporting establishment look unpatriotic, cynical & greedy?

People are starting to notice that high profile Brexiters actions don’t match their words. They talk about patriotism & encourage us to ‘get behind Brexit’ & then choose to build their factories abroad, apply for EU passports/residency & move their money to EU countries (and advise others to do the same).

Meanwhile the Government, including departments headed by Brexit supporters, prepare for food & medecine shortages, gridlock at ports etc.

We’re being taken for mugs. Brexit is a shambles.

You do realise that a clickbait article saying "reportedly considering", is not the same as "this will definitely happen"? No? I thought not.

Politicians have got to take most of the blame. Both the Brexiter zealots and the ones who know Brexit is going to damage the country but are too cowardly or cynical to support a vote on the final deal.

The Government having to plan for food & medicine shortages is not a good sign no matter how you spin it. This is what you’d expect in preparation for a war or some other crisis, and we’re choosing to do this.

Does feel like the country has (hopefully temporarily) lost its way.

I'd take whatever I could off them myself. Find a politician who wouldn't.

So Farage will be alright whatever happens. He’s got a generous EU payoff & pension (been an MEP since 1999) & an open invitation to appear on the BBC & other media whenever he likes. Easy to dismiss people’s concerns as ‘scaremongering’ or ‘project fear’ when you’re in his privileged position.

Despite their polar opposite viewpoints, it would not surprise me at all if Farage and Juncker are great drinking buddies
and often have a good laugh together at the world events at the bar in Strasbourg .
Only the best barman on standby to keep the drinks flowing.
