Yeah let's get rid of the EU first. Other considerations are for another time.
In WW2 the French Resistance had to co operate with Communists and communists had to co operate with Catholics to force out the unlawful foreign occupation.

How can you tell, Del. Still early and only those before work, the unemployed, pensioners and those like me, on holiday will have voted so far.

Just voted as well and there was literally one man and his dog coming out of the polling station.

Just voted here (I work from home these days, so no problem nipping out for a stroll).
Turnout looked brisk for the time of day.
Anyone (such as Tick) that uses 'gammon' as a racial pejorative is as much a racist as those who use the word nigger and similar pejoratively.

A bit of light hearted non EU fun. Who has the nearest polling station to their home? Mine's about 70m, less than a minute walk.

I was looking for the Monster Raving Loony Party and couldn't find them.

Then I realised they call themselves the Liberal Democrats these days.

Sadly Screaming Lord Sutch is now dead and he's been replaced by Vince "Cunty" Cable.

Thatcher refused to condemn the honkies in South Africa murdering the blacks or indeed her good friend Pinochet murdering more of his own people than the IRA ever did.

Thatcher was the biggest lover of terrorism going.

About a five minute walk to the WI hall. It was pretty sparse this morning with none of the usual party activists outside.

Quite interesting this.

Waiting another two days for the results, and trying to blag/guess which way the votes went.

Not uniform or true to form for every area, but it looks going by the council areas in England and Wales that have announced turn out, that in a roundabout/rough blagging it way - areas that voted Remain in 2016 have a high turn out ; whilst Leave councils/areas, most turnout numbers are down 2-5%.

That could mean many things, and its quite funny scanning Twitter to see how the party campaigners are trying to spin it. Although, does that mean that lots of Remain types GOTV in areas that want to stay in the EU/or is the turnout from Leavers making sure their vote is respect and the reverse in the likes of Wigan - low turnout mean that Leavers couldn't be arsed voting or Remainers didn't bother?

Out of pals, friends - most went SNP ; although a couple of folk (plus, the friend of a friend stuff - Aye, I ken, but its true) went Green ; so they may well be with a chance of nicking that 6th seat. Again, turnout seemed to be lower in rural areas like Angus, Perth and Kinross etc but steady and even up in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

We'll see on Sunday I suppose, and hopefully this thread will be a buzzing.
